Affiliate disclosure
Some of the software links on this site may pay us a commission. Here's exactly how that works.
If you click an affiliate link on Atypical Mac User and make a qualifying purchase, we may receive a commission from the vendor. You do not pay more because of that link. Commissions help fund the research and testing behind our guides.
How it works on this site
- An affiliate link is labelled “affiliate link” next to the link, and carries
rel="sponsored nofollow". - Product panels and call-to-action buttons say whether a link earns us a commission.
- Links to a vendor's official site that earn us nothing are not labelled as affiliate links, because they aren't.
- Pages that contain affiliate links say so near the top and again near the end.
What affiliate relationships don't do
- They don't change what we recommend, or where a product appears in a list.
- They don't earn a product a rating. Ratings come only from hands-on testing.
- We still cover, and sometimes recommend against, products that pay us nothing or that we can't earn from.
Current status
At the time of writing, no affiliate relationships are active on this site, and no links earn us a commission. This page updates automatically from our product data.
